Deborah’s favorite family Christmas Recipe

Pumpkin Bread

2 1/2 C. sugar
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 C. butter
4 eggs
16oz. can of pumpkin
3 1/2 C flour
2 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. groud cloves
1 C chopped nuts, if desired

Cream sugar, cream cheese& butter. Aggs eggs, one at a time. Blend in pumpkin, then add all dry ingredients. Pour into 2 greased&floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour, or until done.

You may also top this with a light glaze if desired.

   Okay – I went to her site. I'd love to give a candle to a neighbor…we are not huge candle people b/c the smells tend to give us both a headache. I like the Aroma Gold ones a bit more, though, b/c they are not quite so strong. I had one a few years back and it didn't seem to affect me as much as the others.
