Tell us about yourself:I have been married to a wonderful man for 5 years and we have an almost 3 yr old son who keeps us on our toes. When I’m not working or chasing the mister around I like to read, scrapbook, stamping, which I just go into, and watching tv. None of these I get to do very often. One thing we like to do as a family is ride our bikes. In the summer time we spend a lot of time outdoors, going to parks and just riding around. Our son loves to go on bike rides.

Give us a description of your company: Tiny Tots with Style is a children’s boutique that specializes in trendy and unique clothing and accessories for boys, girls, and infants. We also carry a variety of mommy gear to fit all of your needs.

How long have you been in business? I started Tiny Tots with Style in Feb 2009. So almost 1 yr ago. WOW…Kind of hard to believe.

How long have you been a Christian & share a little about your faith:When I was small my parents would take me to church now and again. They would send me to Sunday school, but my parents never talked about what it ment to be a Christian. If asked I would say “sure I’m a Christian. I attend church and I believe in the Lord”. As I grew up, went off to college, got married and started my own family I didn’t attend church like I should or really put my faith in the Lord. When my son was born I knew that was something I wanted to instill in him. I started attending a local church in my home town, but really never felt at “home” and I wanted more. My husband never liked attending church with me. So last Easter Sunday I attended a large Christian church in No Co and something amazing happened. I knew at that point I found “home”. Ever since then I relationship with the Lord has grown. It has been an awesome adventure and I look forward to what the Lord has planned for me in the years to come.

How has your faith in God inspired and helped grow your business? I know that through Him all great things can and will happen. Having your own business is a huge commitment and you feel like you work 24/7, but I know the Lord is there for me and help me get through all the bad time. I know this is what he wants me to do, so I keep plugging along at it.

What Advice can you give to other moms thinking about starting their own business? I say follow your dream. It was my dream to own a business and through a number of things I made it happen. It is very challenging, but yet very rewarding. Success doesn’t happen overnight, but if you want it to happen it will. Just keep doing it.
