I asked Jeanne what her plans were for Valentine’s Day and this is what she said:

For Valentines Day our Church has a “Couples Dinner” for Valentines Day- Great Food, great company and I’m planning on bringing a decadent desert–and plenty of Cheat so that we can keep our girlish figures :)

Death by Chocolate Truffle

1 box devil’s food cake mix, with Pudding in the mix
1 box of instant chocolate pudding
1 box of instant vanilla pudding
1 package Skor Toffee Bits for Baking
1 large container Cool Whip
Pecans, for garnish
Cherries, for garnish

Bake cake according to directions. Prepare puddings in layers in glass bowl (for color).

First layer: Crumble cake.
Second layer: Chocolate pudding.
Third layer: Vanilla pudding.
Fourth layer: Cool Whip.
Fifth layer: Sprinkle with Skor toffee bits.
Repeat layers. Finish with Cool whip and garnish with toffee bits, pecans, cherries.
Serves 12.
