What is your vision for Mommy Bag Marketing in your area?

I would love to see Philly Metro Mommy Bag Marketing be more than just an excellent  marketing option for Christian and family friendly businesses. I’d love for a whole network of resources to develop. I want our business partners to be able to depend on Philly Metro MBMI to provide them with the best ways of reaching their target market. In turn, I want to develop a solid base of event coordinators who love to have Mommy Resource Bags at their events. Of course, we also want to bless the women who receive our bags too. I’m thinking big, because I know this works!

 Share a little about you and your family.

My husband and I have been married for almost six years, and we are truly best friends. We have two daughters ages 4 and 2 who talk from the moment they wake in the morning until they go to bed at night. Sometimes they even talk in their sleep! But what a joy they are to us. We feel so blessed. My husband and I love to cook together, so you’ll often find us on a weekend chopping, stirring, and tasting our culinary delights. If you gave me a scented candle, a cozy blanket, and a thick book, I’d be perfectly happy. Oh, and my laptop is probably the fifth member of our family.

  How long have you been a Christian and share a little about your faith.

I have been a Christian since I was very young; in fact, my parents tell me I was four. I can’t remember not being a Christian. When I look back on the things that God has done in my life, I am utterly thankful for His grace and tender love to me. I cannot imagine my life without Him. “For of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever.” Romans 11:36 My Christianity is not just one of the things in my life. I want my love for Christ to permeate every area of my life, and to shine through me.  

 What is the best part of being a Mommy Bag Marketing Coordinator?

I’ll admit that I am a social person, so being able to meet Christian business owners has been wonderful! I love finding out about these different businesses, and brainstorming  ways to help them effectively get the word out. I feel like I’ve made a whole new group of friends. I also pray for each of the business owners in our bags. I love it that I can sit in my home with my kids nearby and do almost every aspect of my job while they are with me. I can make my own schedule too! Everyone in the MBMI organization has been more than helpful, and I feel like I can go to them about anything.

 Share something fun or silly about yourself.

This is slightly embarrassing, but my husband and I are known for the abundance of coffee creamers in our refrigerator. Once, friends stopped by, raided our fridge and we had no less than fourteen creamers. Yeah. We like a little variety in our lives. Coffee anyone?

If you have an additional business, give a short description about it.

My mom started Speakable Gifts when I was young and lived at home. I helped her out with it, and now have joined her as a partner. Speakable Gifts sells gift packages, favors, and publications, all with a message. We like to help people give meaningful gifts and hold events that leave sweet memories for years after they occur.
