What is your vision for Mommy Bag Marketing in your area?

North Texas is full of strong Christian churches, mothers and families.  I know that Mommy Bag Marketing will grow and blossom here.  I envision MBM to become a well known and go to brand for women’s groups here. 

Share a little about you and your family. 

I am married to a wonderful guy, James.  We have two great kids – Claire (3) and Luke (2).  Every day is different and so much fun!  My children love to be active, and my daughter loves her violin lessons.  My son is just beginning to show his personality, but he loves to laugh!  We like to travel as a family, and we can never be found too far from a book.

 How long have you been a Christian and share a little about your faith.

I was raised in the church.  While I drifted away a little in young adulthood, I met my husband at a little church in Minnesota and faith is central to our family life.  We are active in our church here in Fort Worth, and I love nothing more than when my daughter tells me about God or asks me questions so she can learn more.

What is the best part of being a Mommy Bag Marketing Coordinator?

There is so much I enjoy about being a coordinator.  I think the thing I enjoy most though is being deprogrammed from what had been taught to me in the corporate world.  Relationship are key.  Helping others is important while God is the most important.  And the hardest lesson for me to learn is that it’s not all about numbers!

Share something fun or silly about yourself. 

I used to be a huge (HUGE) video game player.  I also used to fly gliders (like in the movie “The Thomas Crown Affair”, not remote control).

If you have an additional business, give a short description about it.

I sell quality children’s books and toys through my business, Great Books for Children.  Instead of offering kids commerical products pushing TV shows, I carry classic stories with vivid illustrations as well as games that are educational and fun!
